OUR MISSION

Mark David Roseman and Associates (MDR and Associates) has evolved out of the need by parents to find guidance and strength for improving their relationships with their children, particularly when children have been alienated by the other parent or guardian. Based on the family ecology work of Professor Urie Bronfenbrenner (U of Rochester), the family in all its manifestations is influenced by multiple
environmental factors. Life within one’s home is based on the physical, emotional, and psychological quality and resources within it.  Additionally, it is further impacted by the external influences of media, schools, neighbors, the community, and the workplace.

One’s life is further influenced by family values, by the parenting experience, and one’s childhood traumas.  All are connected by the crisscrossing, or intersections of each of the factors above and others as a church, public policy, and access to any and all support systems.

It remains then as we may struggle to make sense of our current condition, and as we choose to change our lives, that we recognize too that, with assistance, we have the ability to maximize our personal choices to make preferred changes in our lives. We can reframe our behavior, adjust our thought patterns, and find new ways of being. We can cope. We can grow. We can find hope.

MDR & Associates brings a well-vetted network of professionally trained and experienced, like-minded Associates who can bring vital and cost-effective opportunities for personal growth, workplace resiliency, and increased social harmony to affect improved outcomes for children and parents.
